Naming ceremony
A naming ceremony is a non-religious way of celebrating the birth of a new baby or welcoming adopted or stepchildren into the family. Children of any age can have a naming ceremony, you may wish to include older children as well as your new child. The ceremony will be conducted by a celebrant Registrar.
Renewal of vows
Renewal of vows is a unique celebration of a continuing relationship. It could be that you are celebrating a special anniversary or perhaps your ceremony was abroad and you would like to celebrate the event with your family and friends who could not be with you on the day.
Location
The naming ceremony and renewal of vows can be held in the Council Chamber or Library Suite at Redbridge Register Office or at any of our approved venues in Redbridge.
Fees
Library Suite
- 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025
- Monday to Thursday - £262
- Friday - £327
The fee for a celebrant Registrar to attend an approved venue is:
- 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025
- Monday to Friday - £626
- Saturday - £668
- Sunday /Bank Holiday £742
