You might be offered emergency accommodation while we look into your situation if:

  • you are eligible for our housing help
  • we cannot prevent you from becoming homeless

You will be offered longer-term temporary accommodation if we have a housing duty towards you.

Emergency and temporary accommodation might be outside the borough of Redbridge if there is no local housing available.
