About Policy Development Committees
There are six Policy Development Committees (PDC), which will enable elected members to have effective policy development input on issues that are aligned to the Corporate Plan, using evidence, data and discursive investigation.

Clean and Green
This PDC focusses on addressing relative issues in the Council's Corporate Plan, including the environment, air quality, waste and recycling, sustainable transport and green spaces.
Health and Care
This PDC focusses on addressing relative issues in the Council's Corporate Plan, including supporting independent living, addressing health inequalities and increasing life expectancy.
Homes and Neighbourhoods
This PDC focusses on addressing relative issues in the Council's Corporate Plan, including housing, homelessness, licenced accommodation, and improvements to ensure safe and attracted spaces in neighbourhoods.
Safe Redbridge
This PDC focusses on addressing relative issues in the Council's Corporate Plan, including crime, community safety and anti-social behaviour.
Strategy and Resources
This PDC focusses on addressing relative issues in the Council's Corporate Plan, including the management of the Council's financial resources and any cross cutting and corporate strategies and policies.
