The Redbridge Community Project and Small Grants Funds
The Redbridge Community Projects Fund and The Small Grants Fund will be administered by The London Community Fund on behalf of the Council for a 2 year period 2017 to 2019.

Strategic Partners Fund
The Strategic Partner Fund had 2 strands, Core Funding and Commissioned Through Grants.
Fifteen applications from voluntary and community organisations were received as follows:
- 12 applications from existing Strategic Partners

Age UK Redbridge, Barking & Dagenham and Havering | To promote the relief of older people in and around the London Boroughs of Redbridge, Barking & Dagenham and Havering by improving and maintaining their quality of life. To increase public engagement with older people to shape the borough and council services to increase fairness and facilitate older people to express their aspirations. | £34,000 |
Refugee and Migrant Forum of Essex an London (RAMFEL) |
To provide a service that supports a better understanding of the needs and concerns of Redbridge's asylum seeker, refugee and migrant communities. | £15,000 |
Redbridge Carers Support Services | To provide practical help, advice, support, advocacy and information to those people caring for others who are dependent upon the carer through disability arising from age, physical or mental disability. | £11,000 |
Redbridge Children and Young People’s Network | To provide a forum to enable voluntary and statutory sectors to meet, share information and become involved in planning and development of services for vulnerable and disadvantaged children, young people and their families. To enable the Network to offer support to a wide range of local third sector organisations and statutory partners. | £21,000 |
Redbridge Disability Consortium | To treat disabled people and people with mental health problems with dignity, fairness, respect and understanding by developing high quality appropriate and accessible services; working in partnership to influence policy and to promote best practice in all areas of service planning design and delivery of services. | £57,000 |
Redbridge Equalities and Community Council | To work towards the elimination of all discrimination and to promote equality of opportunity and good relations between persons of different groups and circumstances, having regard to race, disability, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender re-assignment, marital status/civil partnership maternity and paternity. | £22,000 |
Redbridge Faith Forum | To promote and enhance community harmony and reduce community tension. It aims to bring together people of all faiths and none at different faith/community venues to develop mutual respect through recognising common elements of belief, and understanding differences and to give people of faith a voice through participating in civic activities and events, engaging with local democracy. | £16,000 |
Redbridge Rainbow Community | To serve the interests and needs of Redbridge's LGBT community. To advocate on issues of public policy and practice where they discriminate or disadvantage members of the community. To create safe social spaces for individuals and families to come together and seek mutual support. | £15,000 |

Redbridge Council for Voluntary Services (RCVS) | To promote support and develop a strong effective and independent voluntary and community sector in Redbridge. It is the umbrella organisation which provides a range of services, information, advice, support and training to this sector. To enable the organisation to deliver capacity building services to the voluntary and community organisations and work in partnership with statutory partners. | £75,000 |
Redbridge Disability Consortium | To treat disabled people and people with mental health problems with dignity, fairness, respect and understanding by developing high quality appropriate and accessible services; working in partnership to influence policy and to promote best practice in all areas of service planning design and delivery of services for disabled people. | £60,000 |
Victim Support | Aims to provide an excellent level of service to victims and witnesses of serious and violent crimes by providing both practical and emotional support to them as they go through the Criminal Justice System. To also raise awareness of hate crime and address the barriers of reporting. | £25,000 |
Organisation awarded a one year Transition Grant

To preserve and protect the mental and physical health of the wider community through the provision of organic gardening opportunities, conservation activities, education and one to one support. Through the transition from the community garden into a therapeutic garden project - Ecotherapy project.
Working in partnership with statutory bodies such as Clinical Commissioning Group to provide accessible services to people with low and mid-level mental health needs. |
