Family help service
Family Help is a new way of bringing together all the support you may need as a family in one space.
Families can access all services from the Redbridge Family Help Service for children who live in Redbridge and need:
- practical support to prevent a problem escalating
- a social care assessment or multi-agency plan
- support to protect children at risk of harm or abuse
Get support from Family Help
You can contact our Family Help on 020 8708 3885, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
If you want access to social care files, you’ll need to make a Subject Access Request. Ask for a Subject Access and Individual Rights request
What happens next
The Family Help service is led by social work managers who review all requests into children’s services.
We’ll talk through the reason for your enquiry and discuss different options available to
support your situation.
We’ll be able to identify practical support and provide advice and services that is useful to you and your family,
There will be some situations where a case worker will be allocated to your family from one of our family help teams. A case worker is not always a social worker. It can be a family support worker, youth worker or health professional and will be based on who is best to work with your family.
