- Age UK offers free, confidential advice if you are over state pension age
- The Money Advice Service has information and advice about the benefits system
Advice from the team
We may be able to help you if you cannot use the websites above because of a serious or long-term health condition, disability or your age.
We can help:
- give benefit advice
- access benefits
- maximise your income
- provide specialist casework and representation
- guide you to other services
- make mandatory reconsiderations to the Department of Work and Pensions
Before you make a referral
- check if you can access the advice services above
- if you’re making a referral on behalf of someone and you can access advice services, visit the websites above
- you’ll need to provide us with information on your finances, benefits and any medical evidence
Make a referral
You’ll need:
- details on your health conditions
- details of the benefits you receive
- to tell us why you’re making a referral
- details of your living arrangements
- your contact details
- consent to make the referral if you’re making this on behalf of someone or confirm if they lack capacity
- details of immigration status if you’re not a UK national
Make sure you have all the information you need before you start.
You can add your evidence when you make the referral.
