Why can't I view my letters?
If you are having problems logging in to view your online letters, please consider the following:
Have you successfully completed the registration process? If not you need to register to view your letters.
Have you selected the option ‘Register for online letters’ instead of ‘View my online letters’?
Has your application been processed? You can only view letters for current benefit claims that are in payment - this facility is not available for claims that are waiting to be calculated or that have been closed.
Have you entered the same details you used when you registered for online letters? This should be:
- the first and last name, date of birth and national insurance number of the person whose name the claim is in
- the benefit claim reference number - beginning with a 0 or a 1 and 8 digits long. Please note that this is not the same as your Council Tax account number
- the email address you provided at registration
Have you entered your 8 digit benefit claim reference number that starts with 0 or 1? for example 12345678.
Have you used your Council Tax Account number?
