Refuse and Recycling Collection Day Changes
The collection day for refuse and recycling, is going to change for some households from Monday 25th November 2024.
This change only affects 2,800 households and we will write to you before the change takes place, so you have all the information you need. Details of the roads affected along with the existing collection day and the collection day from Monday 25th November is included in the list below.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are you changing my collection day?
We are making these changes to ensure that the service is more flexible to any changes in the number of properties that require a collection as well as ensuring our routes are efficient.
What will happen during the week of the 25th November?
Please place your bins and boxes out on the new collection day and the collection crew will take your refuse and recycling. If you do forget, don’t worry the waste collection crew will also check whether you have your refuse and recycling on your existing day this week.
How will this change be communicated?
During the week of the 11th November 2024, a letter will be delivered through the door. The following week waste operatives will place a sticker with your new collection day on your bin.
From the week 2nd December, you will be able to look up your collection day like normal and your new collection day will be visible:

My road is on this list but I have not received any communication from the Council, what do I do?
