Renew your vows
If you’re married or in a civil partnership, you can have a special ceremony to renew your vows. This is a way to celebrate your relationship and show your love and commitment to each other.
The ceremony has no legal status. It does not include any religious parts.
You can have a ceremony with family and friends or alone. You do not need to have witnesses.
You’ll sign and receive a special renewal of vows certificate at the end of the ceremony.
Where to have your ceremony?
You can have your ceremony anywhere you choose to.
You do not have to live in Redbridge to book a ceremony with us.
You can have your ceremony at Redbridge Town Hall in the Roding Room or Library Suite. You do not need to book a celebration official (registrar) if your ceremony takes place here.
You can choose to have your ceremony at a licensed ceremony venue in Redbridge. You’ll need to book a celebration official (registrar).

If you need to cancel or change a booking

You must let us know at least 60 days’ before the ceremony date to get a full refund. It can be either you or your partner that tells us.
Change the date
You’ll need to contact us.
You must give us at least 30 days’ notice. You’ll need to pay a £55 fee to change the date.
