Single person discount
You can get 25% off your council tax if you are the only person over 18 who lives in your property.
Your property must be your only or main place of residence. You cannot claim a single person discount for a second home.
If someone has moved out temporarily from your property, you won’t be able to claim the discount. For example, the person is working away or has gone on an extended holiday.
