Good Grief Cafes

Friends eating out together The Wanstead Library Grief Cafe is a safe and confidential space to meet others, to share stories and to explore thoughts and feelings around the experience of grief and a loss. It’s a supportive environment for reflection and conversation. It’s a place where people will be able to find mutual support and encouragement. It may be that your loss is anticipated, recent or a long time ago. At our Grief Cafe there is no agenda, objective or theme; the conversation is simply led by the people in the group. Please note that this is not a counselling session but a supportive space for those who are grieving who wish to share their experiences with others going through the same thing. Join us for tea, cake and a friendly supportive ear. Everyone is welcome. We appreciate donations (minimum of £3) towards the cost of refreshments and facilitator expenses. If you are experiencing financial hardship but would like to attend then please contact us. We are unable to offer a refund if you cancel your place. We thank you for your understanding. Happening every 3rd Thursday each month.
