Nestled in the award-winning Valentines Park, this charming café has been serving the community since 1912. Run by Paul and his family for over 14 years, they’ve created a welcoming space where locals can enjoy delicious food, stunning park views, and a variety of community events, including walking groups and new parent and baby workshops.
Paul shares how, “where possible we source our food locally. Our bread and rolls are from a local baker, most of our meat comes from a local butcher and our cakes are from a local patisserie.”

For a decade, Daisy and her husband Mark have been creating stunning floral arrangements for every occasion at their shop on Wanstead High Street. This includes floral arrangements for weddings, funerals and displays for special occasions.
Passionate about her work and the local community, Daisy loves being part of a thriving independent shopping scene.
She expresses, “I’m doing something I enjoy. We are lucky to have customers that are so supportive, and the independent shops along the High Street make it a lovely place to shop.”
