Onslow Gardens has a large central area, with woodland to one side and the M11 extension to the other. This open space offers a great haven for unwinding, relaxing, having a picnic or leisurely strolls. Onslow Gardens forms part of Roding Valley Park, which is ancient woodland and is enriched in wildlife and gets users a little closer to nature. There are numerous events that happen within this area organised by the Nature Conservation team.

Ilford War Memorial Gardens Eastern Avenue Ilford, IG2 7RJ
The Memorial was built to recognise and remember the 1,159 fallen during the First World War from Ilford. It was unveiled on the 11 November 1922 by the daughter of Queen Victoria, Princess Louise, Duchess of Argyll. Ilford War Memorial Gardens Action Group has worked with local residents, businesses, visitors and Vision Redbridge Culture and Leisure to maintain the gardens and ensure our heroes are not forgotten.
