Help Redbridge get the urgent funding it needs for Broadmead Road Bridge
Having lost around 63% of government funding since 2010, that’s over 60p in every £1, councils across the country are in an incredibly difficult financial position.
In Redbridge our government funding has fallen by the equivalent of £230million.
As a result, we are desperately short of the money required to fund projects of the magnitude of Broadmead Road Bridge.
We cannot do it alone, which is why we are seeking urgent financial funding from the Department of Transport.
It’s essential government steps up with financial support to resolve the bridge defects and reopen this vital route in our borough.
