Sir James Hawkey Hall is on Broomhill Road in Woodford Green, a short distance from Woodford High Road. It is an ideal venue for wedding receptions, pre-wedding parties, social events, birthdays, anniversaries, staged events, large conferences and community group events.
The venue was opened in March 1955 by former Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill and is fully licensed to host Civil Ceremonies, Civil Partnerships, Vow Renewal Ceremonies and Naming Ceremonies.
A noise limiter operates at this venue.

The capacities listed above are based on trestle tables, if you would prefer round tables this will reduce the capacity.
A deposit of 25% if the hire fee must be paid to secure your booking. We also take a refundable £1,000 damage deposit, which you will get back after the event if no damage is caused to the hall, equipment or facilities.
