Join the library

You can join Redbridge libraries online. You will be asked to select a library where you would like to collect your library card. On collection, please bring along one form of ID that shows your current name and address, for example, a driving or TV licence.

Join at your local library

If you visit your local library, to join please bring with you one form of ID that shows your current name and address, for example, a bank statement or bill. We will register your contact details and give you a library card ready to use.

Where can I use my library card?

Redbridge libraries are part of the London Consortium, which means that you can also use your library card  in:

  • Barking and Dagenham
  • Bexley
  • Brent
  • Bromley
  • Ealing
  • Enfield
  • Hackney
  • Harrow
  • Havering
  • Kingston Upon Thames
  • Lewisham
  • Luton
  • Merton
  • Newham
  • Sutton
  • Tower Hamlets
  • Waltham Forest    

If you already have a library card from one of these boroughs, you can use libraries in Redbridge without having to join again.
