
Claire Hamilton joins as Chief Executive at London Borough of Redbridge

East London resident and former Chief Executive of Dacorum Borough Council, Claire Hamilton, has started today as the new Chief Executive for the London Borough of Redbridge.
Claire has over 29 years of experience in the public sector, leading high-performing teams and developing positive and productive partnerships to deliver complex regeneration initiatives.
Welcoming Claire to the Council, the Leader of Redbridge Council, Cllr Kam Rai, said: “Claire joins Redbridge at a pivotal time when the Council is navigating a challenging economic landscape whilst working hard to continue delivering and improving vital services for our residents. I look forward to working with her to deliver the very best for Redbridge.”
“Claire became Chief Executive at Dacorum during the pandemic in 2020, where she delivered an exciting and successful transformation agenda. This included the Council’s Place-shaping and economic and Strategic Growth programmes, as well as Housing and Customer Service improvement and Organisational Transformation.
“Claire will lead Redbridge Council through transformation to modernise the way it delivers services and improve future economic stability and growth amid the rising financial uncertainties facing many public sector organisations.”
