Health and wellbeing roadshows to commence this summer
Published: 28 July 2021
The Redbridge Public Health team will be out and about with a Health and Wellbeing roadshow at summer festivals happening around the borough’s parks this summer.
The festivals, organised by our local borough partnerships, will host an array of fun activities to ensure a day of enjoyment for families – and are timed to coincide with the move to step 4 of the roadmap out of lockdown.
This will be an opportunity for Public Health providers and Council teams to engage with residents and hear their views on how we can collectively recover from the Covid-19 pandemic to create a healthier Redbridge.

The Community Hubs team from the Council, who are undergoing an exciting project to build interdisciplinary Hubs to benefit Redbridge communities, will also be present.
Cabinet Member for Health and Social, Cllr Mark Santos said: “In the past year, we have learnt about the importance of looking at all aspects of our health. This event provides a real opportunity for our residents to get information and speak to experts on a broad range of health and well-being issues. We want to support people from all of our communities so we can make Redbridge a healthier borough for all. This Saturday’s event is a perfect opportunity to begin this engagement.”
Please find the timetable for summer festivals below, where you will be able to find the Health & Wellbeing roadshows and engage with our stallholders.
