Get involved for Volunteers week: June 3-9
Published: 31 May 2024
Our borough is filled with amazing volunteers that help make Redbridge a great place to live. From community gardeners, to repair café heroes, and litter picking champions – there is no shortage of community spirit in our borough.
Volunteering is a great way to support your local community, by offering your time and skills to help organisations deliver services which have a positive impact on both individuals and communities:
- There are opportunities to volunteer on a regular, casual or one-off basis, for a variety of organisations with Community Action Redbridge. For more details visit https://www.communityactionredbridge.org.uk/
- There are volunteering opportunities within Redbridge parks, libraries and more through Vision Redbridge, Culture and Leisure. Find out more: https://visionrcl.org.uk/volunteer/
For Volunteers Week a range of organisations and teams, including Redbridge Council’s Our Streets team, will be at the Redbridge Volunteering Fair. Come and find out how you can get involved in community projects in Redbridge.
The Redbridge Volunteering fair will be on Thursday 6 June 11-2PM at Redbridge Town Hall, 128-142 High Rd, Ilford IG1 1DD.
