Remembrance Day parades and services

Published: 4 November 2024

This weekend, people in Redbridge will come together on Remembrance Day to pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Remembrance parades and services will be held across the borough, providing a poignant opportunity for us to stand united in our remembrance.

Remembrance Day, a significant memorial day observed in Commonwealth member states since the end of the First World War is a solemn occasion to honour armed forces members who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. It is also known as Poppy Day, a tradition that symbolises our collective remembrance.
