Boundaries and land ownership
We cannot advise on land ownership or boundary lines and we have no powers to resolve disputes. If you are in a dispute with your neighbour about the boundary between your properties, you will need to work out who owns the land.
You can find this information in legal documents such as your Title Deeds or through Land Registry.
More information about boundaries or resolving a dispute can be found on:
If you think the boundaries are not defined in the title document or lease, or the boundaries have been changed by agreement or encroachment, you will need to get legal advice from a solicitor.
