I just wanted to email regarding the excellent service I received from your Building Control department. I made the Regularisation application on the Planning Portal and received a prompt response from the admin department, I had a query regarding the fee and this was quickly dealt with. Booking a site visit was easy and the surveyor (Mr Lewis) was good enough to give me an approximate time. Mr Lewis carried out the inspection with his trainee and was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was also impressed that he took time to explain some of the technical issues with his trainee and that you still had trainees. This experience confirmed my faith in Local Authority Building Control.

 

 

I was very impressed with the speed of service, after I needed an urgent letter from Building Control to help us proceed with the sale of our property. Much appreciated.

Very impressed and thankful to Mr Alex Lewis and Ann Marie Finan and to building control to allow builders like myself to produce photographic evidence as proof of compliance to building regulations. Difficult as it is during this pandemic, being able to continue working helps our families and is less of a burden on the tax payer. If this wasn’t made available obviously we’d get to a point and have to stop, very grateful.

I have requested to get the PRC Certificate of my property which I didn't possess at the time of buying the property as now I need it to renew my mortgage. The building control kindly shared with me the copy of such PRC certificate and I am very pleased as otherwise I would have to visit the office and things would have taken longer than required. Mark Revell has sent me the copy of the PRC Certificate and it is exactly what I require or have been asking in just an email. I am quite happy with the certificate and the details of the PRC certificate as they would hopefully be able to satisfy the lender.

 

 

I found Mr Ken Perkins extremely helpful with my project. There was a couple of items that he helped me to resolve and was very pleased with his advice. On the whole working with Redbridge building control was very positive.
