We have exciting plans to preserve and expand Fairlop Waters by adding 250 acres to the park in the coming years. Working with the community, we want to create an inspiring place for everyone to enjoy.
Since 2020 we have been engaging with the community to make improvements to the park. Residents were invited to join a series of co-design workshops in 2021 and 2022 to develop a set of Vision Principles and a masterplan which was approved by Cabinet in July 2023. We are now working on a first series of projects to bring the masterplan to life, including new pathways, improved signage and entrances as well as a new playspace.
