Street Tag

Street Tag

Street Tag is a new free smartphone app that offers rewards for being active.

Street Tag has been funded by Redbridge Council as part of its active travel and public health projects to motivate and support residents to improve health and wellbeing, encouraging activities such as walking, running, and cycling. The app turns physical activity into a game where schools and community teams generate points by scanning virtual tags dotted around the borough. Progress is monitored through leader boards and the most active school and community teams can win cash prizes and vouchers at the end of each designated season.

For more information on Street Tag, visit www.streettag.co.uk, and download the app on the Play Store, or App Store

Borough schools are encouraged to get engaged in Street Tag and register to compete against other schools in the borough.  Season 2 will begin in January 2021and we would welcome more school teams and families to participate.  Street tag can count towards your TfL STARS accreditation when uploaded as a story, and help increase your walking, scooting and cycling trips on the school run and beyond.

To register your school email Seun@streettag.co.uk or fill an online form to sign up and receive your school team QR code and further instructions from a member of the Street Tag team.
